The internal medicine department of the
HOSPITAL UNIVERSITARIO SAN VICENTE DE PAUL, was founded
in 1959 in an agreement made by the hospital and the medicine
faculty of the Universidad de Antioquia and through witch
the internal medicine specialization. Now a day the department
is divided in sections according to the subspecialties.
